Pros : Sharp, clear vision whatever the correction; amazing freedom from magnifying glasses!
Cons : Wear time (2 weeks) is too short; loosing some distance vision; pricey for wear time

The Bottom Line : I would recommend them highly. Some people may get better vision than they had. The bi-focal option is very liberating. You'll wonder why you didn't try it sooner.

Pros : The best "compromise" for me- the most comfortable; easiest to handle; best vision.
Cons : No inside-out indicater. Vision is not excellent.

The Bottom Line : I think you have to try various brands. The Acuvue seems to have the most advantages overall but the Baush and Lomb were the best fit for me.

Pros : Clear vision for both distance and close-up. Won't dry your eyes. All-day comfort.
Cons : Priced slightly higher than others, but well worth it.
Review : I find I can no longer see close-up as well as I used to, for example I have to hold the phone book
The Bottom Line : B & L studied the Acuvue Bifocal lenses (which have been around a few years) and improved upon them. They hit a home run with Soflens Multi-Focal.
