Pros : Blends and purees with ease. General surface cleaning was easy. Ergonomics were great.
Cons : Durability is low. It cannot be fixed if drive shaft fails.
Review : I purchased the KHB100 blender in July of 2004. It performed admirably for making homemade mayonnais
The Bottom Line : Do not buy.

Best of the conusmer grade immersion blenders.

Pros : Easy to clean stainless steel shaft. Blade guard does not scratch pots.
Cons : Plastic internal gears, plastic splines. Somewhat short cord.
Review : To purchase an immersion blender superior to the KitchenAid KHB100 (or the equivalent KHB200 and KHB
The Bottom Line : The KHB100 is easy to clean, and its nine speed settings render it quite versatile. It's powerful and durable enough to do nearly anything one would want, except crushing ice.

Pros : Stainless immersion stick and blade, comfortable handle doesn't slip out of my hand
Cons : Makes great purees but lumps can remain if you're not thorough
Review : I will freely admit to the world ~ I'm a gadget girl. Some chefs boast that they suffice with a bare
The Bottom Line : Works well blending cooked soups, gravies and purees right in the pot (off the heat, of course). Saves time and fewer dishes to wash.
