Pros :
Nice design. Competitive shave in terms of closeness. Pivoting head design contours better to face.
Cons :
Questionable value based on cost. Must clean too often. Carrying case too large and bulky.

I purchased a Norelco 1050x a few days ago on sale at Target for $139.99. Last two razors were Norel
The Bottom Line :
Try this out using the Norelco 45 day guarantee. If it performs better for you, keep it. Otherwise, downgrade to a Spectra or similar Norelco model and save $20-$50.

Close shave, nice travel case, lightweight.
Cons :
High price/value ratio, non-adjustable shave height, narrow trimmer, "feels" cheaply made.

In my opinion, Philips/Norelco really blew it with the advent of their new arcitec 1050 shaver. 
The Bottom Line :
My final recommendation is that potential customers should steer clear of this particular product. There are too many negative points associated with this product for the price paid.
